Happy Monday!! Mailbox Monday is hosted by Marcia at The Printed Page. We share what books that we found in our mailboxes last week. Here’s what I received:
Once again I received only one book and it wasn’t in the mail, I went to CVS on Christmas Day, I was so bored I had to leave the house, I told my family I was driving around to look at all the closed places. I discovered that there were a few places open: gas stations, Chinese restaurants, Starbucks (got my non-fat latte), Walgreens and CVS. I decided to get candy for Tigger, he was upset that I left him at home. As I was walking around, I saw this book, my one find for the week.
- Mortal Danger and other true cases: Ann Rule’s Crime Files: Vol. 13
I am a huge Ann Rule fan, I most of my true crime books are by Ann Rule. I have started branching out to other authors, but she remains my favorite. Anyway, I just had to have it and so I bought it.

About Belleza
I got the name Bella because my grandfather called me Suzabell. I use that as a username and my friends on the site started calling me Bella. Thus was born: Bella Foxx's Life, now known as "just a city girl" since I have made the big jump from the country and am now living in the City, UES.
I like to make jewelry (check out my blog "Bella is creative" started April 17, 2008) and write. I like to do cross stitch and knit. I sew, I don't really enjoy it, but I enjoy the clothes.
I like to read the Bible, books, magazines, online newspaper articles, blogs, jokes on candy wrappers, ads on the subway, billboards, backs of food boxes, lists of ingredients and recipes, cleaning directions, sayings on shirts. I post my reviews on "Just a girl, living, reading, watching, and writing", on Shelfari, Library Thing and Goodreads..
I am allergic to practically everything: grass, trees, weeds, animal dander, dust, mold, wheat, apples, nuts, fish and coconut. The fish and coconut are so serious I carry an Epi-pen and wear a Medic-Alert bracelet.
And last but not least. I love the Yankees.
Thank you for stopping by the ‘mailbox’ this week. My Mother-in-law is an Anne Rule fan also. Christmas tradition on my spouse’s side is to go to movies Christmas Day. We stayed home this year due to weather – we had a really white Christmas.
There was nothing open where I live on Christmas Day. I’m glad the workers had the holiday off, but I forgot something for the dinner and it would’ve been nice to run out and get it. LOL>>–Anna>< HREF="http://diaryofaneccentric.blogspot.com/" REL="nofollow">Diary of an Eccentric<>
LOL – I can still remember Christmas of 2006 – Our son was born on Christmas Eve, and after 4 months of bedrest (3 in the hospital) I wanted to go “out”! My husband watched our baby for an hour, and my Mom took me out to the store. We ended up at Walgreens as it was the only place open!>>🙂 Wendi
